Your Business Community profile is often the first thing a potential client sees. Here are five simple ways to make it work harder.

1. Lead with what you do

Open your description with one clear sentence about who you help and how. Visitors scan quickly, so save the history of the firm for later paragraphs.

2. Use a clean logo

Upload a logo with a transparent or white background. It appears on your profile card and on search results, so it needs to be readable at a small size.

3. Add real photos

Photos of your team, workspace or recent projects build trust far more than generic images. The first photo in your gallery becomes the cover image.

4. Choose the right category

Pick the category that best matches the service people search for. Use your description to mention related services, because search also looks at the words in your profile.

5. Reply quickly to inquiries

Every inquiry quotes your listing ID and arrives by email and in your account. A prompt, personal reply is the simplest way to turn a neighbour into a client.
